2 Hermitages – for 1 or 2 people each
Suggested rate: €90.00 per night for single residency or €140.00 per night for double residency.
Avila provides two hermitages for accommodation. These self-contained, self-catering cottages provide absolute seclusion. The hermitages are modestly yet comfortably furnished. Featuring an en-suite bathroom and cooking facilities, each hermitage can accommodate one to two adults. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Ballsbridge is reachable via a delightful stroll through Herbert Park, and stores and restaurants in Donnybrook village are within a few minutes’ walking distance.
Although extended retreats are possible, the standard maximum length of stay is six days.
The Chapel
The chapel is available for use by visitors, and they may also participate in Mass and Divine Office with the community. A member of the resident community is available to offer spiritual guidance upon prior request.
